Shropshire County Council has now received the Secretary of State's agreement to all seven Section 10 requests for exemption from competition to run the proposed new schools and that enables us to publish statutory notices. These were published on Wednesday 17 September and there now follows a six week period for further representations to be made up to the closing date of Wednesday 29 October At the same time public notices have been issued for the closure of Lydbury North and the expansion of Clunbury as agreed by Cabinet at their meeting on 25 June.

By clicking on the links, this will take you to each school's individual page and the accompanying documents. You may make comments as set out in the notices sending them to the address shown on the respective notices or by emailing them to schools.consultation@shropshire.gov.uk

At this stage, the likelihood is that these proposals and representations will be discussed by Cabinet on Wednesday 19 November. If is necessary to hold a special meeting of Cabinet, this page will be updated with information on an alternative date in due course.
