Library Friends groups

Friends of Libraries groups have been formed across Shropshire to support the service. They have developed in different ways, according to local interests. Activities may include:-

• fund raising
• voluntary work
• raising the profile of the library in the community
• encouraging use of library facilities
• arranging social and literary events
