Community and living Community Directory Marches Scribes
The Marches Scribes is a calligraphy group in the Marches area.
It is a friendly, welcoming group which is interested in encouraging beginners, whilst also catering for the needs of improvers and experts.
Many top class tutors come to the monthly workshops held on Saturdays at Monkland Village Hall (just south of Leominster) from 10.00am - 4.00pm.
Marches Scribes also holds a month-long exhibition during September: in 2008 at The Secret Hills Centre, Craven Arms, and in 2009 at Leominster Library.
