Hungry to be Heard
Age Concern England has launched the Hungry to be Heard Campaign to help friends, families and carers spot the early warning signs of malnutrition and to provide help to those who are concerned about an older person, whether they are living in their own home, or in a care home or spending a period of time away from home, such as in hospital. Malnutrition is not a symptom of ageing. Don’t let the signs be dismissed as simply ‘old age’. Leaflets are available from Age Concern.

Feet for Purpose
Good foot care is crucial in helping older people to stay active and independent. But many older people struggle to care for their feet.

Age Concern is calling for all foot care, from basic nail cutting to chiropody, to be free at the point of use for older people who need it. For more information and to get involved, contact tel: 01743 233123.
